THE AUTHOR

Douglas Price has been teaching finance for over five years to students all across Canada. His journey to teaching personal finance began when he recognized a gap in financial literacy training for the younger generation.

He is also a Masters graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, an award-winning teacher and composer, and the founder of tunetorialz.com, an online catalogue of musical theatre lessons for singers.

He inaugurated the position of the Head of Music at the National Theatre School of Canada where he created (and still teaches) SmART Money, a personal finance course for artists. Are you an artist? Check out the course here.

Doug, thank you for writing this book. You've helped open my eyes to concepts, terms and tricks that I wouldn't have learned anywhere else.

You have something very special on your hands here. It was a super easy and interesting read and I feel like I've come out the other end of it a much more knowledgeable person and consumer.

I enjoyed learning so much about taxes, investments, and credits. I was not into these things but now I am. This book shows you a friendly and fun way to get introduced to this.
